So after I was ‘laid off’ I decided the best thing to do would be to go back to school, enter a new profession that I could actually tolerate….I’ve been in the same industry for over twenty years and this last place I worked was home to the most morally bankrupt bunch of human stains I have ever encountered. So now I’m enrolled in school and I like it, I have friends who turned out to be professional students, they just keep getting degrees and grants and certificates..is it too late for me to become cocooned in the world of higher education, I think I’m in love.
Today I got the contents of my personnel record sent to me, I was curious to see if the shit smeared pennies that I used to work for would add some negative evaluations to the file just to bolster there case against me….I was surprised to find that they did not..heres what i dont understand about unemployment.. if unemployment finds me lying about ANYTHING they will take back all the money that they gave to me..if an employer is found to be lying nothing happens to them and thats crap, the employer is lying TO A GOVERNMENT AGENCY hello? But I am going to see my attorney next week and we’ll talk all about that im sure.
So, on a personal note I have a cold, not a bad one, Ive been fighting it with vitamins and beer, staying away from the gym for a few days, hopefully will get back to working out tomorrow afternoon…I also have to get back to mediating and practicing qi gong which is moving meditation, its helped me alot…but I’ve been distracted, well thats not true, not distracted just feeling sorry for myself that needs to end. Tomorrow is Friday which brings me great joy not so much as it used to when I was working for the Flying Ass Monkey Circus but it still makes me happy. It’s been raining here for the past two days and that makes me happy too, I love running in the rain makes me feel part of the weather not just an observer…
How about some music, Aimee Mann is a brilliant songwriter (my opinion) heres another one that could be my theme song…have a wonderful Thursday
